Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she turned sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra is known for her involvement in many notable projects, both in the United States and internationally. A few of them include the British biographical movie Control, Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and French historical mini-series Napoleon. Additionally, she was an active member of The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
